(constantly repeated)

  • 1 Present simple and Present continuous: repeated actions

    1) Present continuous

Why are you jumping up and down?

I' m going to a lot of parties these days —

Present simple.

    Every morning I get up at 7 o'clock. —

He is forever losing things —

I'm always meeting Mrs Smith in the supermarket —

He is always smiling —

We usually have breakfast at 9.00 — Мы обычно завтракаем в 9.00 (речь идет о распорядке дня, расписании).

We are usually having breakfast at 9.00 so you can drop in then — Мы обычно завтракаем в 9.00, так что ты можешь забежать к нам в это время.
